In search of the - "Alien Gene" - a molecular biology approach. The identification and isolation of a "unique" set of genes expressed only in the environment of outer space or simulated microgravity (Alien Gene) will be stored in a commercial gene bank repository and database-clearing house, and may be used as molecular probes or markers to trace the origins of various life forms within the universe. The standardized reference AG-A 001 - 100 (Alien Gene allele A, 001 through 100), AG-B 001 - 100 (Alien Gene allele B, 001 through 100) and AG-C 001 -100 (Alien Gene allele C, 001 through 100) will be used to designate individual Alien Gene allele forms.
